Terms & Conditions
A Legal Disclaimer
It is important that you read through this document and are happy to agree with the Terms and Conditions set out below. Payment for services and participation in training or behaviour support implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
Training & Handling Methods
The training techniques used by Bee Together Dog Training & Behaviour are based on the principles of positive reinforcement and are kind, fair, and reward-based. Harsh handling of dogs, physical force, punitive methods, punishment, corrections, or the use of equipment designed to be aversive are not permitted. This includes but is not limited to choke chains, check chains, prong collars, spray collars, e-collars, or any other device deemed inappropriate by the trainer. Such methods should not be used during or alongside any programme or support provided.
Payment, Refunds & Cancellations
Statutory 14 Day Consumer Contract Regulations
If you choose to cancel a booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your booking confirmation, you are entitled to a full refund. Cancellation can usually be made via the booking confirmation email. If this is not possible or you would prefer to contact us directly, please email Bee Together Dog Training & Behaviour and we will arrange cancellation and refund.
The statutory cancellation period expires 14 days after the date of booking confirmation. If you book a service that is scheduled to begin within the 14 day cancellation period, you will be asked to give express permission for the service to begin before the cancellation period ends. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that permission. If you later cancel, you will be liable to pay an amount proportionate to the services already delivered up to the point of cancellation. Once a programme or package has commenced, the right to cancel no longer applies.
Standard Cancellation & Refund Policy
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. After the statutory cancellation period, payments are non refundable.
Missed appointments are non refundable. Where appropriate, follow up notes, resources, or guidance may still be provided.
If Bee Together Dog Training & Behaviour needs to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergency, or adverse conditions, we will aim to rearrange the session at a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, a proportionate refund for the cancelled session will be issued.
If a session goes ahead as planned but you are unable to attend, this will be treated as a missed session and no refund or replacement session will be offered.
1 to 1 sessions must be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 7 days’ notice to be eligible for a refund. With less than 7 days’ notice, no refund will be given except for any travel costs not incurred. In exceptional circumstances, partial refunds or rescheduling may be considered at the sole discretion of Bee Together Dog Training & Behaviour.
Where sessions are purchased as part of a package or programme, all sessions must be used within the stated timeframe. Any unused sessions outside this period will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in exceptional circumstances.
Payment Plans
Where a payment plan option is selected, the following additional terms apply.
Payment plans represent a commitment to the full programme or service and are not pay as you go arrangements. By selecting a payment plan, you agree to pay the full balance over the agreed schedule regardless of attendance, engagement level, or early completion.
Missed or cancelled sessions do not pause or cancel payment plan instalments.
If a payment fails, you will be contacted to resolve the issue. Repeated failed payments may result in sessions being paused until the account is brought up to date.
Once the statutory cancellation period has passed, payment plans are non refundable even if you choose not to continue with sessions.
Children
Children are welcome to be present during sessions where appropriate. Responsibility for children remains with the supervising adult at all times. Bee Together Dog Training & Behaviour accepts no responsibility for children attending sessions.
Children must not interfere with the training process or compromise safety. Where this cannot be managed, sessions may need to be paused or rescheduled. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Health & Veterinary Care
All dogs attending sessions must be appropriately protected against disease and parasites. Owners are advised to consult their veterinary professional regarding vaccinations, titre testing, and parasite control.
By booking and attending sessions, you accept full responsibility for your dog’s health and disease protection. Owners may attend sessions without their dog if their dog is temporarily unable to participate.
Marketing & Privacy
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions and used for marketing purposes. If you do not wish for images of you or your dog to be used, please inform us in advance. Written feedback may also be used for marketing purposes, using first names only.
Client photography or videography is not permitted without express permission.
