Get to Know Me

I have spent most of my life alongside dogs. Not just working with them, but living with them, learning from them, and finding comfort in their company. What I offer today comes from decades of hands-on experience, curiosity, and a deep respect for dogs as individuals.

My story with dogs began in childhood. Horses came first, then rescue dogs, and I quickly learned how powerful connection and quiet companionship can be. Dogs were where I felt grounded, understood, and calm, and that never really changed.

As an adult, I followed what felt like a sensible path into office work, but the pull towards rescue dogs was always there. Volunteering at weekends soon turned into a life shaped by rehoming, fostering, and learning from dogs with complex needs. Some of my greatest teachers were my own rescue dogs, who challenged me, humbled me, and helped me understand how behaviour is shaped by emotion, environment, and experience.

I am a Licensed Family Dog Mediator, a Gold Member of the Pet Professional Network, and I regularly support rescue work both in the UK and overseas.

I share my life with a small menagerie of dogs and cats, many of them rescues, who continue to remind me daily about patience, communication, and slowing down.

If you are feeling stuck, unsure, or simply want a better relationship with your dog, my role is to walk alongside you. To help you understand what is really going on, and to support your family and your dog in building a calmer, more connected life together.

What sets me apart

Professional Background

Before launching Bee Together, I spent five years working at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home across both the Windsor and London centres, supporting dogs with a wide range of needs, from emotionally sensitive rescues to high-energy youngsters finding their place in the world. I then spent four years with Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I learned first-hand how powerful the bond between humans and dogs can be when communication is clear and compassion leads the way.

This experience shaped my belief that good training is not just about skills. It’s about truly understanding the dog in front of you and supporting the humans beside them.

I now bring this combination of practical experience, behavioural understanding, and family-centred training into every session.

A Little Buzz of Excitement

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently been invited to work with one of the Cyprus rescue organisations, supporting their new UK adopters. It’s a project close to my heart and another way to help more dogs find safe, happy homes.

My Philosophy

Bee Together Dog Training was founded on one simple belief: that when we understand our dogs, everything changes. Training should feel calm, kind, and achievable, a process that helps both ends of the lead feel heard and supported.

So whether you’re welcoming your first puppy, helping a rescue find their place, or simply needing a little guidance to bring balance back to your home, I’m here to help you and your dog grow together.
